With Every Breath So hard - to keep hope alive when fear prevails; when fear pervades every inch of your soul and touches your mind as to almost paralyze it. Facts don't enter in to your fight against fear; when you feel as if you've just begun to live - and fate threatens to put an end to an incomplete existence. But, with every fiber of your Being [you must] hold on to your dreams - live them - with every breath you take. For, to live your dreams is the difference between surviving and prevailing. I want to prevail over life - not merely to exist or survive. Then only, will death find me free of regrets. It matters not in terms of hours, days, or moments when that time comes, if you have made of every memory that which you'd hoped it to be. This is not and end now, when dis-ease knocks at your door. It is an excuse to begin anew the Life you've always wished it would be. Have faith. Have courage. This is just a reminder - that we do not have an eternity to make a mark upon the Heart of Man. You were a part of me you soft and saggy little thing you nourished my four sons were a play thing for my husband I study myself in the mirror you are gone part of my body is gone did it have to be was it really necessary yet it woke me up to consider again the wonder the value of life my life this time it awakened me to the beauty of every day every moment every friend even the worm eaten rose in my garden a rose that blooms so gloriously even in its imperfection -Margaret Lorraine Hudson, age 76
